Safety Manager

Location: either Minneapolis or Rochester, MN (your choice)

Position Overview
The Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the safety and compliance of all operations within the organization. This role involves developing safety policies, implementing safety programs, and conducting safety assessments to minimize risks and promote a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading a team of 2 site safety managers, 2 managers & and admin systems manager
• You'll be building a solid foundation our safety processes, taking our existing very successful platform to the next level or world class safety. 
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA regulations
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of construction sites
• Provide training and resources to staff on safety practices and procedures
• Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, and inspections
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in the construction industry
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CHST) is preferred
