Salesforce Business Development Director

Description:

Capture Director will collaborate across Operational Teams, Technical Teams, and Bid and Proposal organizations to build, manage, and win a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities. Responsible for developing the account strategy and roadmap that achieves company goals. The successful candidate should be passionate about making work more efficient and effective, and demonstrate leadership in business development and opportunity capture.

Responsibilities include knowing and growing assigned accounts, identifying and qualifying new business, developing account plans, meeting with internal and external stakeholders, monitoring the market, participating in industry events, maintaining relationships, using BD Capture Process, participating in business and pipeline planning, developing capture plans, negotiating agreements, responding to RFIs and RFPs, building call plans, presenting at bid and capture reviews, collaborating across the organization, and supporting organic growth.

Agility is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for our Commercial Accounts. The Business Development Manager has a key role within our Growth team, contributing to high growth in assigned accounts by using relationships and insight to identify, capture, and win new work.

Requirements:

Administration. Demonstrated understanding of organizations, priorities, and strategic direction. Recent relationships and experience working with commercial space leaders and stakeholders. Proven experience identifying and capturing new business, developing effective teaming and win strategies, successful track record in capturing high-value opportunities, working knowledge of trending technology concepts and solutions. Proven performance in opening new accounts and expanding business. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience building broad pipeline across entire lifecycle. Proven ability to negotiate, draft, and execute agreements. Ability to use automated tools such as Microsoft Office. Proven ability to sustain a healthy pipeline.

Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business-related discipline. 6+ years of experience working in the Commercial Space. 4+ years of experience in Business Development, Capture Management, and Program Management.
