2024-2025 School Year

Location: South Holland/South Chicago area, IL

3rd grade to High School

Requirements:

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a mental health related field such as Psychology, Counseling, etc.
• Must possess a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)

Job Description:

• Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location
• Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suits your experience and skillset
• Contract through the 2024/2025 school year
• Contract follows the academic district calendar – 32.5 to 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Help students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Assist students through early identification, prevention, intervention, counseling, and support.
• Develop and teach intervention strategies to help students achieve academic goals.
• Work with family members and other individuals in child’s life to help support their development, learning, and adjustment.

Salary:

• $46-$52/hr.
• Different pay packages offered based on your needs
