N4 Solutions, LLC is seeking a Scientific Policy Analyst to provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). This position is contingent upon passing a government suitability test.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Analyzes complex scientific variables used to prepare various reports that impact the planning and outcome of the research program
• Perform research and analyses in support of strategic planning, program planning, and reporting activities
• Advises management about public policy issues and provides recommendations for the appropriate action
• Attends various staff and scientific meetings providing reports as requested 
• Provides expert guidance to management about public policy issues and provides recommendations for appropriate action 
• Coordinates the daily workload of junior staff 
• Plans and presents meetings regarding current and new initiatives 
• Research and prepare responses to ad-hoc or recurring inquiries

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Governmental Affairs or Public Policy
• Superior experience with MS Office (i.e. Word and Excel)
• Experience with portfolio analysis and strategic planning
• Strong writing skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• U.S. Citizenship
