This is a Part-Time position at King's Schools in Shoreline, WA.
Compensation: $18.00 to 22.00  per hour DOE
Benefits: 403(b) matching, sick leave

COMPANY OVERVIEW

POSITION SUMMARY

The Secondary Lunchroom Coordinator will manage day-to-day operations of the student store and lunch program.  Coordinate and manage student volunteers and be the liaison for local businesses and vendors. 

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

DUTIES

• Supervise and evaluate food student workers and develops work schedules.
• Supervise and coordinate activities for students who prepare, cook, serve food, clean premises, collect money, operate point of sale (POS) systems and wash dishware.
• Participate in preparing and cooking lunch items.
• Assist in training students’ proper food preparation procedures and safety regulations.
• Reprimand, discipline, and provide written documentation for all disciplinary actions that occur.
• Ensure accuracy of deliveries of food and supplies by checking vendor invoices and prices as products are delivered.
• Properly organize storerooms and storage areas.
• Assist in ordering weekly food and supplies from approved vendors, managing food cost and waste, making sure inventory (food and paper goods) is accurate and fits within budget.
• Assist in verifying weekly cash deposits and manage the cash register which includes counting and recording all daily transactions.
• Complete all assigned daily records and documentation, including zeroing out the POS tills
• Perform other duties as assigned by an appropriate administrator or their representative.

CHRIST CENTERED

• Belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior.
• Is a committed Christian who is dedicated to continued spiritual growth and development as evidenced through a growing personal walk with God (e.g. daily spiritual rhythms of prayer, fellowship, Bible study, etc).  
• Prayerfully seeks God’s will in their own lives and in their ministry at CRISTA.  
• Engages our ministry including staff and colleagues through prayer, participation in spiritual practices, leading devotionals and other spiritual practices.  
• Affirms, aligns with and supports CRISTA’s Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Statement (CCC). 
• Conducts themselves in a manner which reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC). 
• Demonstrates the values of a CRISTA leader.

• Associates or related experience

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION

• Food Handlers card

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS

• Prompt regular attendance is a must.
• Available to work on-site, in-person during regular business hours and as needed.
• Understand and follows all guidelines on safety, food production, food specification, and ordering.
