Position Overview:

The Senior Controls Engineer will play an integral role in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for various manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens control systems, as well as knowledge of other automation technologies such as Vision Systems, Fanuc, and ABB. The Senior Controls Engineer will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective control of production processes, while also continuously seeking opportunities for improvement through Lean principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement control systems for manufacturing processes using Allen Bradley and Siemens technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation needs and provide technical solutions
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure optimal performance and production efficiency
• Maintain and update schematics, drawings, and documentation for control systems
• Provide technical support and training to production and maintenance teams
• Continuously monitor and analyze control system data to identify areas for improvement and implement Lean principles to optimize processes
• Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in control system technologies to propose and implement innovative solutions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field or equivalent years of experience.
• 5+ years of experience in controls engineering, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with FANUC robots, Allen Bradley and Siemens control systems
• Experience with other automation technologies such as Vision Systems, FANUC, ABB, and CNC
• Strong understanding of Lean principles and experience implementing them in a production environment
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
