Job Description



Ashley Martin Home seeks a dynamic and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our esteemed Winter Park, FL studio. The ideal candidate will boast a minimum of five years' experience in residential interior design, demonstrating a penchant for creativity, innovation, and a steadfast commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Principal Designer on a daily basis
  • Conceptualize and contribute to presentation boards
  • Assist in the selection and specification of finishes, furnishings, and accessories across multiple projects
  • Manage project administration tasks such as obtaining quotes, pricing, and samples from vendors
  • Oversee project execution, including client proposals and purchase order creation
  • Effectively manage projects from conception to completion, maintaining communication with workrooms, contractors, and clients
  • Uphold the Ashley Martin Home aesthetic and brand identity throughout all project phases
  • Demonstrate a deep passion for interior design, continually expanding product knowledge and industry expertise
  • Provide unparalleled customer service, exceeding client expectations at every turn
  • Lead by example in operational efficiency, ensuring a seamless customer journey from start to finish

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a design firm or equivalent setting
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities coupled with innate design flair and creativity
  • Genuine passion for people and cultivating enduring relationships
  • Prior visual and sales experience, preferably within luxury furniture or homeware brands
  • Dedication to delivering outstanding customer service
  • Collaborative team player with a confident and communicative approach
  • Minimum of five years' professional design experience
