Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Social Media Specialist with 2-4 years of experience managing social media accounts for brands and/or organizations. In this role, you will be part of a collaborative team, providing comprehensive branding and communication for a variety of government, healthcare, for-profit and nonprofit clients.

Details:

• Location: Must live in Reno, NV, or within 20-40 miles of it
• Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm PST
• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience Level: 2-4 years of experience (experience may include internships)
• Salary: $45,000 - $55,000

Responsibilities

Engagement:

Provide daily engagement that helps grow your accounts

• Inbound:
• Reply to all inbound engagement with the unique brand voice/tone
• Collaborate with internal/client team for sensitive responses
• Recommend best practice responses when working with clients for inquiries that require their attention
• Outbound: 
• Determine target accounts to engage and use appropriate techniques to grow account brands and followings

Content Creation:

• Establish a monthly editorial calendar for each account
• Develop well-researched and error-free content for multiple platforms
• Bring new ideas to the monthly editorial calendar aimed at account success 
• Use Canva effectively on a day-to-day basis.
• Leverage existing templates to create feed content, stories, graphics, videos etc.
• Create long-form strategy documents/reports
• Clearly articulate additional graphic design or copywriting needs to creative team
• Continuously seek inspiration for great content 

Reporting:

• Provide ongoing testing and KPI reporting
• Assist in compiling and creating client reports monthly
• Identify KPIs from social media tools
• Pull data from native social media analytics
• Pull data from social media ad platforms
• Gather specific content and engagement examples from social posts
• Identify industry benchmarks to establish internal and external KPIs

Additional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Digital Specialist & VP of Strategy to review data from social media reports, identify trends, and tailor content to desired audiences and across channels
• Develop social media strategies and plans
• Attend internal and external meetings and make presentations to the team and clients as needed (virtual and in-person)
• Support new business pitches
