The *LifeWorks Schools* are seeking an energetic, collaborative, and experienced *Special Education Teacher* to support our *LifeWorks School* in *Media, PA* for the 2025-2026 Academic School Year.

The LifeWorks Schools are licensed specialty therapeutic day schools for students in middle and high school effected by social, emotional, or behavioral health challenges. *SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Provide academic and functional instruction to students diagnosed with Autism or Pervasive Developmental Disorder in a school setting.
* Monitor student academic and functional achievement through data collection, observation, and other quantitative methods. Observe and record student progress daily.
* Develop and monitor student’s IEP, reports, goals, objectives, attend IEP meetings, establish, maintain, and work toward student goals as outlined in the IEP.
* Manage student behavior through individualized motivational systems, S.M.A.R.T. Program and positive behavior support plans.

*Job Requirements*
* Bachelor’s level degree in Special Education is required.
* PA certification in Special Education is also required.
* Content area certifications preferred.
* Prior experience working with students with behavioral health challenges within a school setting is highly desirable.
