Requirements:

- - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 7+ years in the design and development of large scale mobile applications.
- Proficient and hands-on with iOS development.
- Experience in iOS native app development.
- Recent development experience in Swift, C++, JavaScript/jQuery, and Responsive Web Design (RWD) for mobile.
- Ability to develop native iOS-based apps using iOS, jQuery, HTML 5, and Restful APIs.
- Excellent knowledge and capability to use OS frameworks for multi-threading, data persistence, and adapting user interfaces across multiple screen sizes.
- Experience with developing custom UIs and animations.
- Knowledge of implementing APIs for Ad integration, push notifications, and cloud messaging.
- Understanding of Test Driven Development throughout the application lifecycle.
- Knowledge to define functional and integration test strategies and mentor on fixing issues.
- Strong grasp of standard methodologies for unit testing and implementing continuous integration processes (CI/CD).
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git along with continuous integration (Jenkins).
- Understanding design strategies for optimally demonstrating content delivery networks (CDNs).
- In-depth understanding of agile development methodologies and experience delivering large programs in a complete agile model.
- Strong experience in JavaScript and the Angular framework.
- Experience in integrating with Restful and JSON-based services.

Responsibilities:

- - Conceptualize, design, program, test, implement, and deploy software applications using the appropriate documentation, processes, and quality standards.
- Provide business and project expertise while collaborating with clients, IT resources, vendors, consultants, and other collaborators to identify user requirements, assess technologies, recommend, and implement technical solutions.
- Perform formal code reviews to ensure specifications and standards are met.
- Apply defined code management, build, and deployment standards and practices.
- Independently apply problem-solving skills to investigate and research complex system problems to establish root causes and resolutions.
- Ensure the accuracy of coding, build user documentation, and utilize software configuration, version, and quality management processes.
- Work independently with minimal direct supervision and exercise independent judgment to achieve results.

We offer an annual salary between $81,500 and $141,500, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards based on performance.
