Job Description: Mechanical Engineer Advisor
HOW A MECHANICAL ENGINEER ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience
Required Technical Skills: Leading mechanical engineering system design and development projects and testing practices in mechanical system support, including: engineering requirements development, engineering concept development and cost trade-offs.
2. Engineering design analysis for stress, load, heat transfer and vibration. Performing non-linear finite element modeling.
3. Development of engineering reports, diagrams, and mechanical drawings of complex systems, material specification and manufacturing analysis.
Security Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance

The likely salary range for this position is $96,034 - $77,625. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
