+ Create software package and roll out of Crowdstrike to endpoints and servers.
+ Configure logging and installation of forwarders
+ Identifying IP range for vulnerability scanning
+ Assisting with the creation of an asset inventory.
+ Identity external systems needing MFA and deploying Okta

We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of various IT systems and technologies, with specific experience in Active Directory, VMware, and Storage systems. This role requires someone who is not an expert in any one area but has solid administrative skills across these technologies and can contribute to the smooth operation and optimization of our IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Systems Engineering & Administration:
- Implement best practices for group creation and manage internal questions about groups.
- Support VM and networking tasks as needed.
2. Active Directory & Intune:
- Administer both AD and on-premises AD.
- Oversee Intune administration, including migrating GPOs from on-premises to and relocating security groups.
- Clean up and reorganize existing AD structures and groups to streamline operations.
3. VMware Administration:
- Perform day-to-day VMware administration tasks, including spinning up VMs and troubleshooting issues.
- Ensure efficient operation of VMs, including snapshot management.
- Collaborate on automation projects to enhance efficiency.
4. Storage Administration:
- Administer SAN / NAS devices, understanding the pros and cons of different configurations.
- Support the transition to vSAN from EMC storage solutions.
- Maintain and optimize storage systems to ensure reliable and efficient data access.
5. Basic Networking Knowledge:
- Apply fundamental networking principles to support IT infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot basic network issues and assist with network configuration tasks.
7. Windows Server Management:
- Manage Windows server environments, including patching and security tool deployment (e.g., Rapid7, CrowdStrike).
- Ensure server environments are secure and up-to-date.
Qualifications:
- Solid VMware administration skills, including VM setup and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of SAN / NAS storage systems and vSAN.
- Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerAutomate, SolarWinds).
- Experience with Windows server management and security tools.
- Basic understanding of IAM principles and tools.
