Job Description: Strategic Information Technology (IT) Analyst Project/Task Manager
Tampa, FL ONSITE Position (not a r e m o t e role) Job Description: GDIT is looking for a Strategic Information Technology (IT) Analyst to support Chief Information Officer (CIO) responsibilities, strategic analysis of operations in the information environment and guide digital transformation for the USCENTCOM Information Technology Services (CITS) Program supporting the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) Command, Control, Communications, and Computer Systems (C4) Directorate (CCJ6), USCENTCOM HQ in Tampa, FL.
Duties and Responsibilities: As a Strategic IT Analyst for the CITS Program, you will be responsible for providing strategic analysis services to support the transformation, optimization, governance, and documentation of effective, secure, compliant, and efficient information resources.
Provide expertise and recommendations in support of frameworks, strategies, and architectures to guide a data-centric digital enterprise.
Analyze strategic and operational documents to ensure the capture and incorporation of Command and CCJ6 equities into the digital enterprise governance policies.
Assess and implement strategic alignment of digital enterprise governance and transformation initiatives through engagements with DoD, whole-of-government, private sector, and international mission partners.
Support capital planning and IT investments processes to maximize information resource value and return on investment.
Additional Responsibilities: - Support development of governance products to include frameworks, strategies, policies, and plans.
- Support the development and staffing of strategic communication products (e.g., briefings, information papers, talking points, and other artifacts) for Senior Leaders.
- Support Key Leader Engagement activities.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and workgroups.
- Maintain key customer relationships in support of strategic and operational activities.
- Provide input to and/or submit daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reports.
Experience: 5+ years of technical experience
Education and/or Certifications: Required: - Bachelor's Degree with a focus in Information Systems, Information Resource Management, Management, or a related field of study.
Desired: - Master's Degree with a focus in Information Systems, Information Resource Management, Management, or related fields of study.
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
- Project Management Professional Certification.
Required Skills: - Possess strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or in small group to analyze requirements, prepare course of actions and recommendations.
- Ability to work closely with stakeholders at all levels to include senior leaders
- Experience in strategic planning.
- Ability to quickly analyze assigned tasks, determine requirements, coordinate input, and develop products.
Desired Skills: - Experience with Combatant Command structure and mission set; USCENTCOM preferred.
- Familiarity with USCENTCOM's IT environment.
- Knowledge of Digital Enterprise key concepts (e.g., cloud, zero trust, data visualizations).
- Knowledge of CIO Responsibilities (e.g., Enterprise Architecture, Portfolio Management, Process Improvement, Cybersecurity).

The likely salary range for this position is $92,331 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
