SUMMARY: The internship provides hands-on experience on assignments at BankUnited. In this role, interns will be provided training, career development opportunities, and mentoring throughout the duration of the internship. Internship Details
10 weeks - 2.5 days/week; 20 hours/week
Pay rate: $20.00/hour
Participants will be assigned both a mentor and an employee resource for the duration of the program
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
As an intern, you’ll:
Be mentored by a BankUnited senior leader
Attend professional development activities engage in a great company culture
Make a positive impact on communities we serve
Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
Identifies and reports suspicious activity.
EDUCATION
Applicants must be in a Bachelor's Degree Program and exhibit solid communication, leadership, and technical skills
Experience
No prior experience is required, but the following skills are helpful: critical thinking, creativity, solid presentation skills, technical acumen, general understanding of financial institutions
