Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team. The Tax Manager will oversee our company's corporate and individual tax compliance, oversee the preparation of complex tax returns, and provide overall guidance on tax compliance matters.

Position Overview:

• Responsible for the preparation and filing of corporate and individual tax returns.
• Manage the preparation of accurate and timely tax calculations and review of filings.
• Manage and review the tax data and provide guidance and advice on tax compliance matters.
• Identify and research tax issues, trends and opportunities to minimize tax liabilities.
• Provide support to the accounting staff and other departments in regards to tax related issues.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed review of business, individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
• Negotiate with tax authorities and represent the organization in IRS audits.
• Identify and evaluate tax credits and deductions.
• Provide advice and assistance on tax matters to the organization.
• Maintain financial records and documents for tax purposes.

Qualifications:

• CPA 
• Experience in preparing and filing tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other tax software.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Business, individual, partnership, and corporate tax experience.
