Position: Outpatient Physical Therapist

Start Date: 12/9/2024

Duration: 13 weeks

Location: Keene NH 03431

Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days 8

Shift Notes: Days 40hr guarantee

Weekend Requirements: TBD

OnCall Requirements: None

Traveler Policy: will not consider Local Travelers (those who reside within 50 miles of the facility). Thank you!

Typical Patient Day/Load/Ratio: We perform 60minute evaluations and treatment sessions 30 to 45 minutes as appropriate based on diagnosis. We only treat one patient at a time. Typical 2 to 3 evaluations a day and then rest of day treatments ( 2 evaluations plus 11 treatments ( 30 minutes in length)

Dress Code: Either personal scrubs of any color or business casual (Athleisure/stretchy clothing ok too but no leggings crop shirts etc). No opentoe/back shoes.

**Requested time off during this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

** Traveler must be willing to work TWO of the following: Thanksgiving and the weekend after Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the weekend after New Years Eve/New Years Day and the weekend after

Physical therapy helps build strength regain mobility and improve balance. It can also strengthen your body reduce pain and prevent future injury. You may need it to:

• Adapt to an artificial limb
• Control your bowels or bladder or improve sexual function
• Elevate athletic performance
• Get a splint or brace
• Improve movement or ability
• Learn to use assistive devices like a walker or cane
• Manage a chronic illness like diabetes arthritis or lung disease
• Perform your job safely after an illness or injury
• Prepare for or recover from surgery
• Prevent disability or surgery
• Prevent or recover from a sports injury
• Recover after a stroke accident injury or cancer
• Recover after birth
• Reduce dizziness or improve your balance
• Relieve pain
• Work on balance to prevent a slip or fall

Previous training in and competency in the use of standard PT modalities (Estim USD) is expected and devicespecific training is to be provided

Submission Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current PT experience (No New Grads)
• Outpatient Ortho experience
• Previous travel experience Highly Preferred
• EPIC and Expro experience REQUIRED
• NH license must be in hand at profile upload
• This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
