BASIC PURPOSE : Musket Europe SARL, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, specializes in commodity supply, trading and logistics and provides expertise on both a marketing and operational level. This role will optimize supply to Loves Truck Stops plus 3rd party customers and be an opportunistic shipper in respective market to maximize opportunities; managing both top line and bottom-line earnings. Develop a position and identify arbitrage opportunities along vessel, rail, and pipeline routes. Communicate to the rest of the trading team views and opinions. Integrate Musket into the physical European trading business.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supply cheapest supply to clients.
• Shipping Musket product.
• Signing aggressive third-party supply contracts.
• Conducting day deals with suppliers for various commodities
• Setting up all possible rack pull points.
• Optimizing commodities in their markets.
• Determine best shipping strategy based on market economics.
• Learn pricing trends in market for various commodities.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Look for additional ways to maximize marketing opportunities for various commodities.
• Communicate monthly and daily strategy with basis trader and regional marketer.
• Communicates daily strategy by attending morning and afternoon conference calls.
• Maintain book position through hedging properly and monitoring Solarc book status.
• Maximize and publish P&L daily for various commodities.
• Trade and manage exposures for various commodities.
• Price discovery for various commodities.
• Effectively Manage asset base.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Education:
• • High school Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent.
• Experience:
  • 15 + years of experience in commodity trading.
  • Experience importing greater than 500kt/m refined products into the UK.
  • Deep knowledge of UK tricking and retail margins.
  • Experience with UK bio-blending.
  • Deep knowledge of US, European, and Asia refined and renewable product markets.
  • Understanding of rack market dynamics including technology, supply & demand, and customer base.
  • High level of price risk management expertise.
  • Understanding of physical international fuel supply chain.
  • 5+ years of experience in retail fuel optimization, including technology platforms and services.
  • Understanding dispatch and trucking for delivery to end-users.
  • In-depth knowledge of US retail fuel dynamics, including retail fuel trucking and storage.
  • Complex understanding of convenience store operations and pricing.
  • Understand shipping and cartage for delivery to end users.

• Skills:
