Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Treasurer who is looking for advance their career and become the next CFO to oversee our financial operations and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of financial management, risk mitigation, and corporate governance. This role requires a strong leader who can drive financial performance, optimize capital structure, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is a VP level Professional looking to grow into a more leadership role. Less than 5 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans and budgets.
    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
    • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and forecasts.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
  • Treasury Management:
    • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital.
    • Oversee banking relationships and optimize borrowing costs.
    • Implement effective risk management strategies, including hedging and insurance.
    • Manage foreign exchange risk and optimize currency exposures.
  • Capital Allocation and Fundraising:
    • Identify and evaluate investment opportunities.
    • Lead capital raising activities, including debt and equity financing.
    • Optimize capital structure to balance risk and return.
  • Investor Relations:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and lenders.
    • Prepare investor presentations and participate in investor calls and conferences.
    • Ensure timely and accurate disclosure of financial information.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks.
    • Develop and implement robust risk management policies and procedures.
    • Monitor market risks and implement appropriate hedging strategies.
  • Financial Operations:
    • Oversee accounting, tax, and treasury functions.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and tax regulations.
    • Implement efficient financial systems and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MBA, CPA, CFA preferred).
  • 6+ years of experience in corporate finance, treasury, or a similar role.
  • Willing to learn and be trained up to be a CFO
  • Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation, and risk management techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
